One of the first targets of nearly every squirrel group is an attack upon the application of Ethics. Once Ethics is knocked out, there is no longer a means to prevent anyone with the intention to create havoc with standard tech to come along and start introducing non-standard, off-beat and downright bizarre squirrel practices. That’s the real reason there’s been so much fixation on the subject of “disconnection” by the squirrels. I’ve even seen one squirrel (Martin Padfield) trying to prove that someone else wrote the most recent HCOB that explains “disconnection”. (More on this in another posting.)
Having executed various propaganda campaigns to destroy the use of the Ethics and Justice Codes in his squirrel group, Mark Rathbun thinks he no longer has to worry about someone in his circle writing him up for out-tech or issuing a cramming order on him, much less getting him sent to Ethics for his blatant tech alterations. However that doesn’t stop us (www.markrathbunisasquirrel.com) from exposing what is really going on behind closed doors down in Ingleside.
In fact, several Reformed Independents have sent information to this blog reporting on the out-tech that is being perpetrated by Mark Rathbun and it is not pretty. From the reports it is clear that collective thought agreement has taken hold within the ranks of the Rathbunites (the hapless dupes who got suckered into abandoning LRH’s Church). Whole segments of LRH’s tech has been thrown in the garbage can by Rathbun, with none of his followers so much as batting an eye in protest!
Rathbun is being very careful not to publicly announce what he is really doing for fear of the PR repercussions. A small minority of Mark Rathbun’s acolytes are still under the delusion that they can receive standard tech outside the Church. This is an old old line that has been thoroughly disproved by the reports from the Reformed Independents (people who have been to the dark side and returned to LRH’s Church).
Mark Rathbun has been coming up with all manner of off-beat shit (I can’t really call it auditing). And it is getting worse on a daily basis. Just in the last few days we have received information on the following:
- Rathbun no longer subscribes to the concept of standard tech and is now into an improvisational style of auditing where anything goes. You just make it up as you go with no Progress or Advance Program after a thorough Folder Error Summary to find the errors.
- People in Rathbun’s squirrel group are being told by Rathbun that they can “solo” without having a C/S!
- Rathbun is perpetrating the practice that “solo auditors” do not keep worksheets in a PC folder with session admin. [Since Rathbun is not trained to C/S the sessions and “you don't need a C/S anyway” then why would you need worksheets?]
- We have received reliable information that Rathbun does not keep standard session admin on the people that he is “auditing”.
- More than one person in Rathbun’s squirrel group were told by Rathbun that they are “Clear” – with no CCRD, no review of the person’s folders [Rathbun doesn't use PC folders] and no trained C/S review of anything. These Clear attestations are done on the basis of, “… Uh … Yep, you’re Clear. Next.”
- Persons are being put on Rundowns with no C/S and no set-ups and while in the middle of other actions.
- At least one guy who was “audited” by Mark Rathbun would be classified as psychotic by any definition and as an illegal PC (according to LRH Policy), due to having been on psych drugs and other “treatment”. Rathbun had no problem taking this man’s money however.
- One of Mark Rathbun’s PC’s split up with her long term 2D after getting her “2D auditing” from Rathbun. God only knows what was on that PC “program” (which didn’t exist). Even before getting divorced, the woman ran off and started shagging one of Rathbun’s best friends (who is about twice as old as she is).
- Another Reformed Independent told us about another Rathbun PC who at the same time the PC was seeing Rathbun, had his long term 2D run off and hop in the sack with another of Rathbun’s buddies.

Where there is out Tech there is out Ethics. Where there is out Admin there is out Tech and out Ethics. The hallmarks of an SP.

How does he even do a Folder Error Summary, let alone a thorough one. As far as I know he works out the pc’s auditing history with the pc in some kind of an interview, and then just goes from there. I do not think there are any folders to hand at all.
I am one of those who is shocked. A friend of mine saw Mark and he audited her after a 15 minute interview on her past auditing. The auditing action she did was major. I am really worried about her she says she was happy with it but its like glee and not a real win. She says she will do her OT levels with him and that the training can be done in a few days. She is not a trained auditor, and I know how long it took me to do the Solo course and how much I needed my C/S.
He is committing GROSS AUDITING ERRORS: 1. Can’t handle an e-meter.2. Doesn’t know and can’t apply technical data. 3. Can’t get and keep a PC in session. 4. Can’t complete an auditing cycle. 5. Can’t complete a repetitive auditing cycle. ( including repeating a command long enough to flatten a process). There are only 5 and he has them all! No folder admin! Simply suppressive. Setting up a hidden data line where no-one can see what the hell he did to his poor stupid PC’s! Underneath it all, they MUST KNOW THE TRUTH, as the thetan basically knows! The way out is the way through, with STANDARD TECH – not to blow to a squirrel and submit to this out tech!

I’ve had a couple of people talk to me and say that they are going to do their OT levels with Marty. The timescales are unreal. It will be interesting to see what he actually does if he gets going on ‘delivering’ them.

According to Rathbun’s own statements, “I don’t ‘pull’ withholds. I don’t have to. People offer them to me.” Which basically means he isn’t going to find anything that the PC is not already aware of. When his PC natters, he’s not going to pull and find out what is at the bottom of it and bring relief to his PC.
Anyone who has personal experience with the OT levels knows that LRH was not kidding when he described it as “living lightning”. I cannot possibly imagine subjecting myself to an “OT level” without ethics and discipline being TIGHTLY practiced — and enforced. Forget about the heinous overt of trying to do it “in the field” with a bunch of SP squirrels who not only stole the tech from LRH but who are altering it all to hell. I can’t think of a better way of fucking someone up for a very, very long time. Honestly, if I were to spend 15 minutes with some poor, hapless soul during which I gave them a couple of OT commands and added a few improvised ones of my own just for good measure, I would end up with a “product” who will walk around for the rest of his life as if he’s been HIT by lightning. No worksheets? Pity. Too bad no one will ever be able to figure out what REALLY happened.
What Rathbun is advocating tech-wise is factually spiritual suicide. Give these guys a few more months, and we will see some real casualties emerge as they kill each other and themselves off. That is practically guaranteed. Anyone who has personal experience with the OT levels (done standardly) will, I am sure, agree.
Tech won’t go in if ethics is out. These guys were out-ethics BEFORE they found Rathbun, The Big Motivator In the Sky. They would much rather blame someone else for their failures because they already have enough ethics blind spots to make an optometrist rich. Now Rathbun saves them from introspection by pointing the finger “over there”. God forbid any of them should ever consider themselves responsible for their condition. That is what Rathbun is “saving” them from.

Thanks for telling it like it is. Some of these squirrels are so numb that it will probably take a while for the out tech to work its damage, but I am sure we will see the results before long. In 83 when Mayo did the same thing, the casualties were a while coming but then they sure did come in thick and fast.
The NOTS case is not something you play with. I guess they will have to find out the hard way. It is not going to be pretty.
